PAWS can now accept donations via automatic deduction from your bank account. In this Computer Age, more and more people are paying bills, making purchases and donating to charity electronically. PAWS has now made this option available to save donors money, paper, and time. Simply download the Automatic Donation Plan by clicking here. You can choose the dollar amount that fits your budget, and the frequency (monthly, quarterly or semi-annually) that donations are to be made. E-donors can receive a letter of receipt every time a donation is received or one statement at year end, detailing all they have donated, for simple reference of tax deductible donations.

In order to donate online you will need to register, if you are already registered with PAWS simply Login to donate.

Due to the fact that there are very limited unrestricted funds available for the sponsorship of Assistance Dogs, we would like to explain the ways in which funding sources provide money to cover costs of training dogs. Unrestricted funds cover approximately 30% of the new Assistance Dog Teams placed each year; the remaining teams are sponsored through restricted funding.

The following details the ways in which funding sources designate their donated funds:

  • Unrestricted Funds: donations that are given to the organization to be used for the purpose of the organization as stated in it's 501(c)(3) documentation:
    1. Dogs
    2. Education
  • Restricted Funds: funds donated to an organization that are restricted by the donor to specific programs, people, cities, counties, states, geographical areas, Hearing Dogs, Service Dogs, Combo Dogs, or in any other way the donor wishes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Pursuant to the donors request we have agreed to restrict the use of their donation to a specific individual. Accordingly, the donation is not eligible for deduction as a charitable contribution in determining your Federal Income Tax liability. Donors must consult their own independent tax advisor as to the appropriate tax treatment of their donation to Paws With A Cause.

Please Note: PAWS Does not sell, rent, trade or lease names and/or addresses. The information you provide will be used only by our program and will be held in the strictest confidence.
