ANYTHING THAT HELPS THE MISSION.

CAMPUS BEAUTIFICATION -- Like to garden or paint? Volunteers are needed to keep our grounds and facilities in top shape. Duties may include weeding, mulching, planting flowers, raking, trimming shrubbery or basic outdoor clean up. Painting, window washing, etc.

OFFICE HELP -- Volunteers may be needed to help with filing, preparing mailings, putting together packets and other clerical tasks.

CANINE ENRICHMENT -- This opportunity may include filling Kongs with peanut butter, preparing and cleaning enrichment materials, may include some hands-on dog work such as canine massage and calming techniques.

CLEANING -- This opportunity may involve cleaning crates, cleaning PAWS vehicles inside and outside, washing windows, doing laundry, etc.

EXERCISING DOGS -- Volunteers are needed to exercise dogs. This opportunity would be outside in fenced in exercise yards at PAWS Canine Evaluation Center. Exercising dogs occurs in a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions and includes some kennel cleaning duties. All training would be conducted by PAWS. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older for this opportunity.

I understand that working with animals presents some risks, and that there are possibilities of injury that may result from contact with animals, such as scratches, bites, and allergic reactions, which may occur when performing my volunteer duties.
